Minimum Wage Requirements

  • Federal Minimum Wage: $7.25 per hour

  • Arizona state minimum wage (2026): $15.15 per hour

  • Flagstaff city minimum wage (2026): $18.35 per hour

Businesses operating in Flagstaff should be aware of the following requirements:

  • Pay employees at least $18.35/hour for all hours worked within city limits

  • Tip credits are not alllowed

  • The wage applies to full-time, part-time, & temp employees

  • Minimum wage rates are adjusted annually on January 1
